WHAT YEAR IS IT? We get many calls asking, “What year car do I have?”. Many times it’s your first car and it’s understandable that you may have questions. Below is a list of information that may help identify your car. If you have further questions, please give us a call. We’ll be glad to help. 1967 - The debut year for this great American Legend! Key areas to note are the vent windows, mono leaf springs, and the absence of side markers. For this year, the trim tag had the most amount of information contained compared to the other two years of the first generation. 1968 - This marks the second year for the first generation of Camaro. It was similar in design to the '67 but did away with vent windows, added side marker lamps, and changed the grille area. 1969 - The final model of the first generation is most distinguished from the first two models in body design. It incorporated quarter louver trim and redesigned wheel openings. In addition, the seats included headrests as a standard option.
