Tailgate Cables Please measure your current strap length to verify someone hasn't swapped out the tailgate, latches and or striker plates with ones from a different year.

    The new locking hidden latches are locking pins

that are approximately 5" in length and 5 ⁄ 8 " in diameter. The slotted knob channel

actuates the pin and is the only part of the mechanism that is actually visible.
